Reality Capture

Jackson Square Fountain is my first photogrammetry project. Jackson Square Park is one of New York City’s oldest parks and is a triangle plaza in Greenwich Village. I took the Terrestrial Photogrammetry Data Capture professional course online with CyArk, a non-profit organization whose mission is to “unlock the power of 3D technology to make the world's cultural heritage accessible to new audiences and future generations". I used Structure from Motion (SfM) technique on-site to capture data and processed the image sequences in Reality Capture to generate a 3D reconstruction of the scene.
